Pastor Mo
Pastor Mo has a heart for God's people. She counts it all a blessing and privilege being a humble servant of God with boldness and she keeps her favorite scripture close to her heart "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV
She was born in Salisbury, Maryland and grew up in Maryland and in Delaware. She is the daughter of the Late Ina Jones Upshur and the Late Charlie George Upshur, Sr. The Reverend Monique Upshur Davis is married to Clarence and out of this blessed union; they have a son Jalon.
Pastor Davis is affectionately known as Reverend M., Reverend Mo, or Pastor Mo.
Reverend Davis has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration both from Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware. She has a Master of Divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary in St. Davids, Pennsylvania. She is a Lifetime Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and a Lifetime Member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority.
Reverend Mo was raised in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Pastor Davis answered her call to preach the Gospel in 1997. Upon receiving her Master of Divinity, she was ordained an Itinerant Elder in April 2010 at the Baltimore Annual Conference. It was a year later at the April 2011 Baltimore Annual Conference that Reverend Davis received her first pastoral appointment to Trinity A.M.E. Church in Ridgely, Maryland. It was blessing to her and the Trinity Family. Then at the March 2019 Baltimore Annual Conference, GOD saw fit to bless the Reverend Monique Upshur Davis to receive her second pastoral appointment to Mount Olive A.M.E. Church in Worton, Maryland.
